Enrolment
We understand that enrolling your child in preschool can be exciting for children and an important decision for parents, knowing whether their child will be happy.
At Beachcomber, every effort is made to smooth the settling-in process and ensure that our parents are comfortable entrusting their child to our care. We understand that for many parents, this may be the first time they are leaving their child in the care of others.
We welcome parents and their child to visit as many times as they like, and we are happy to answer any questions and concerns that arise throughout these visits.
Schedule
Our simple enrolment process begins with a visit to the centre where you and your child can meet with our teachers and familiarise yourselves with us and our preschool.
The centre is open weekdays between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, and our minimum enrolment is three days per week.
Please feel free to book a visit to see our home-like preschool and speak with our educators about your schedule and the unique requirements of your child’s learning.
Signing In and Signing Out
The safety and security of your children is a crucial part of Beachcomber Early Learning Centre.
Parents and caregivers must sign their children in and out each time they come to the centre.
If any person other than those named on the enrolment form is collecting your child from the centre, our staff must be notified, and, though it’s not always easily practical, our preference is to meet these people before the first pickup.
Not only does this provide us with recognition of the people responsible for your child when they leave our care, but it also strengthens our relationship with everyone involved in the early development of your child.
